THE ADJUSTMENT IS DIFFERENT
There's no turning or twisting of the head. We use a gentle technique addressing only the first or second bone of the neck. We do not adjust anything else - less is more when it comes to neurologic restoration.
Our goal is to be as specific as possible. One bone, one side, one joint, only when absolutely necessary. Clinically, we are looking to restore full brain-body communication - the upper neck all the way down to the lower back - in as few adjustments as possible.
And research has led us to the upper neck.
WHY THE UPPER NECK AS THE SOURCE?
Compromise of brain-body connection is rooted in the upper neck. We have 100 Billion Nerves in our body - and they all begin in the brain. In order to get to the body, every single one has to pass through the top bone of your neck. The upper neck is the ONLY location in the entire body where every single nerve in the entire body is located.
So if that bone isn't functioning well, a nerve will not be functioning as well as it's supposed to.
That commonly leads to chronic vertigo and migraines that do not respond to traditional medicine and care.
WE ALWAYS TEST THE NERVOUS SYSTEM FIRST
The entire purpose of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore nervous system function - the amount of power from your brain getting to all organs and muscles of your body.
Therefore, we must test your nervous system and assess if any compromise is present first.
We use Computerized Infrared Thermography, the gold standard for neurophysiologic diagnostic procedure.
DETERMINE YOUR UNIQUE CAUSE
We follow a strict protocol for evaluating the upper neck.
It's two bones, four joints, yet there are 276 different combinations these two bones can misalign.
We have been trained to determine what that unique combination is per human. Two people do not receive the same adjustment.
POST-ADJUSTMENT NERVOUS SYSTEM TESTING
After an adjustment and our post adjustment integration period, we re-evaluate the upper neck via nervous system test.
As doctors, we need to objectively know how your nervous system responds to the adjustment.
Therefore every visit an adjustment is given, we always re-scan to verify the adjustment was delivered.
LET YOUR BODY DO THE HEALING
Care is very simple. We operate like a dentist checking for cavities. We perform nervous system testing every visit but we do not adjust every visit.
Why? Like we stated above, the purpose of a chiropractic adjustment is to restore nervous system function.

MEET DR. CHRIS BROWN
Dr. Chris Brown graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2023 and completed advanced upper cervical training in Arkansas.
He is now the Knee Chest professor at Life West, the strength and conditioning coach for College Park High School Varsity Baseball, and the co-head chair of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals.
In his clinic, he helps patients resolve chronic pain, neurological disorders, and performance limitations while mentoring the next generation of upper cervical chiropractors.
WHY AM I CREATING
THIS CLINIC?
How did Precision Neck Care Come to Be?
The answer for me is simple.
I want my hometown of Pleasant Hill, California to have access to upper cervical chiropractic care.
When I moved to Arkansas for my first 3 years of practice, I was in a clinic taking care of extremely sick people. Long standing migraines, vertigo, fibromyalgia, neuropathies, autoimmune conditions, traumatic brain injuries - over 160 different conditions.
And when I moved back home in 2025, I quickly recognized those stories weren't exclusive to people in Arkansas - with the most common being migraines and vertigo.
Once I learned there was only one other upper cervical chiropractic clinic in Contra Costa County, I knew I needed to build a clinic devoted towards those suffering from long term migraines and vertigo.
And then, Precision Neck Care was born.

I know what it’s like to live in a body that won’t cooperate.
In college, I pitched through chronic back spasms and micro tears in my UCL and triceps tendon—taping it up, pushing through, and calling it grit. At the same time, I lost one of my closest friends, JR, to suicide. That moment shattered me and forced a deeper question: how does someone’s nervous system get pushed so far that they decide life isn't worth living anymore?
That search led me towards the brainstem. And eventually, to upper cervical chiropractic care. Not as a quick fix, but as a way to restore communication between the brain and body so real healing can happen. This work isn’t theoretical for me—it’s personal. And it’s why I believe, deeply, that when you restore brain-body function, you can change the trajectory of a life.
